I've heard that with the proper preload R lifters are quieter than the stock lifter,I thought that going with dual valvesprings would be more durable with the XE-R lobes,so TEA installed Comp 978 valvesprings at 1.800 installed height to allow .670 maximum lift. That much seat pressure will colapse the stock lifter.

Default who are you guys having build your motors??

im planning on putting a big cubic inch small block in an older car. wondering how you are getting a 408 and what bloak is that?? i know how you get a 408 out of a 400 block, but not with the new ones.
what motor would you guys suggest i run. the car is already a racecar but would like to have fuel injection. i see how much power you uys put out. so max the numbers out because this wont be driven everyday. thanks

The 6 liter block is a native 4" bore. With a 4" crank and .030 overbore, you'll have your 408+ cubes.
