Anyone seen hp #'s for a stroked 408?

Here is a good example of a stroker. This is a LS1 with a stroker crank, with big cam, heads, and everything else. It looks like the smaller numbers are a semi-stock LS1. Notice that torque is up at least 100 foot pounds at every point. That is GREAT for a truck.

Whitt - what are you wanting to see, hp/tq wise? You'll be spraying also, right? I'm hoping for 500-550 to the wheels. Thinking about a 75-shot, myself.
Also, I changed my order a little today. Instead of a Eagle crank/rods, going with a Callies stroker crank and billet rods. Still sticking with the Diamond pistons. The engine will be ARP'd out, including head studs. They just lowered the price of their assemblies, Lunati also, and I changed. Put all the parts on order today.

Ben, did you check w/ any sponsors on a complete assembled shortblock? I'm not sure who your local speed shop is that is doing the build, but on something costing that much money, I'd prefer to deal with someone with as much experience as possible (as long as costs are within reason).

BigTex - not all that worried about it. The speed shop has a pretty good local rep, they're just not nationwide. One of the biggest parts is being done by Callie and that's the balancing. So, for the most part, the shop here is just putting together. My block is being sent to "the best" local person to do it.
