Default Anyone running a Surge tank fuel system setup?

I am starting to plan my next mod for my eventual end goal of goin FI. Since i have the 4L80e in the final stages, i figured i would start planning out the fuel system. I am really leaning towards a surge tank setup with a couple of external bosch 044 pumps feeding a return style setup... Just wondering if anyone else has gone down this road???

i think a walbro feeding a surge tank then a 044 would be plenty? seen it in a turbo lsx rx7 that was making well over 1200hp
