Ethanol is the new substitute to MTBE gas, right?

I ran it last year. Didn't notice any difference at all, performance wise. Didn't pay attention to gas mileage.

I can get another tank if anyones interested. They sell it 15 minutes down the road, in the next state.

If anyone remembers the specifics, please post. The cool part was after a run, you could siphon the fuel cell for a good buzz.
I was at a dragg strip in Epping NH and I saw a funny car that was painted like a corn cob. I think its the same car you're thining about. It ran right up there with the rest of the Funny cars so he must be doing something right. I remember the logo on the side "Powered by corn"

You are correct Ethanol has started substituting MTBE in gas but that is usually at the 10% mix. E85 is 85% ethanol and 15% gas. You need to have a Flex fuel engine to run it though.
