Default Anyone hook up an after market tach in your 99 up silverado?

I have an 02 silverado that I need to hook upp an aftermarket tach with a shift light in. Do you guys know what wires I will need to tap into in order to get the tach to work?

This is really based on what aftermarket company you are using - you should really talk to them. But, according to Autometer web site, if that is what you are getting:

Tachometer Signal Wire Installation
for 5.3 engine(s)
White wire, pin # 10 of the red connector at the PCM. Set as 4 cylinder.

the tach is a faze slim line tach. It should still tie into the same wire on the PCM though correct?

It all depends on what signal the tach is expecting.
