Here is a picture of what GONZO 6.0 did. I am trying to do the same thing you want to do. I just bought some 3" metalic spun Magnaflow cats part# 59959 last night off of ebay for $78 each which is a pretty good deal. They are only 9" long and look as if they can be cut down a little more so that they can fit in and still make the bend in front of the x member.

Blewsilverado, very nice! Would those happen to be the DC Sports AKA AEM Brute Force headers that the AEM outlet on EBAY was selling? If so, then that answers my question on which converter to buy.

Yep thats the headers I bought. Looks like its going to be a tight fit but should work.

fwiw, I did the pacesetter lt's and ORY and had a muffler shop weld the cats into the ORY. I didn't modify the LT's at all, but here's some shitty pics lol. btw, we reused the stock cats.
