Anyone go from 3.73s to 4.10s?

Default Anyone go from 3.73s to 4.10s?

What kind of gains did you get? What hit in gas mileage?

It only shaves a couple of tenths for me. Gas mileage is still shitty. Not that much of a difference.

I was actually considering it but I love highway racing. I might try them out for a while. Gas milege would suffer only at high speeds. I have a friend who went with with 4.10's and his city milege actually increased.

Jim,Tntrk53 switched to 4.10s I've driven his truck and the throttle response improved considerably after the swap.I don't think his fuel milage was affected much at all.I think it's a good swap.

i didnt notice any differences other than a teeny bit slower on the freeway, but i never drive on it, so i dont care.

there is a difference of 3/10 of a difference in the 1/4 mile in my truck and the gas milage is about 1.5 miles different per gallon hope this helps later, kevin

Don't really know if it helped my ET, but it made it jump a little harder, I had to install a posi anyway so... I was already in there an the ring and pinion where only $160.+/-. But I do like the setup and it will give a good view of my tailgate. Jim


milage dropped to 15 city 17 hwy(80mph usually) I drive for lane choice in town
