Anyone ever put a 07-08' engine in a 99-04?

Default Anyone ever put a 07-08' engine in a 99-04?

What's all needed for this besides changing reluctor

pretty sure the knock sensors are on the side of the block instead of the valley cover.

Reluctor on the crank is different also.

you can buy a lingenfelter conversion box for the reluctor wheel so yuo dont have to pull the engine apart(unless its already apart)

I'd change the reluctor wheel rather than use the converter box. For the knock sensors and cam sensor there is more than enough wire in the harness to move, just remove the split loom, zip ties, and electrical tape and pull the wires out and route them to where they need to be.

sdpc and many others sell the conversion harnesses for the knock and cam sensor if you dont want to change stock harness also smokeshow helped me out alot with all of my questions I had and was cool about it

X-2 true SD has a wiring kit.
