Default Anybody using any coolant additives?

Just wondering if anybody is using something in their cooling system like Redline Water Wetter or the Royal Purple purple ice? If so, does it really work? Thinking about getting some for the summer time and one working electric fan...

Using Water Wetter with about 25% green coolant. Works good in my climate.

2 drops of soft soap. seems to work great. found an engine builder who does this to all the motors he installs. says it help the water cling to parts which inturn cools them better.

I poured a bottle of purple ice in my coolant. I didnt notice any reduction in temps, but then again thats looking at the crapy factory guages. The main reasoin I did it is for lubrication and to protect the seals in my water pump and so forth.

Yeah they both can be used with ethylene glycol antifreeze and dex-cool antifreeze.
