ya, i had my air mass screen in with the blower, but not with this new motor. I am running the bigger air mass sensor this time. No i have not dynoed my truck yet. This weekend will be the first time to run the 300 shot. I was only running the 200 before. I figure the motor alone is some where in the ball park of 480-500 block hp for on the low side. And with the 300 shot it should bring me up to some where around 800. We will see i would like to get it on a dyno. I know the guys at whipple real well. I am going to see if i could get some time on there dyno.

4 Go Not Show, yes certainly if I see the same thing on your ride in October...I will bring my tools with me to take it off of your truck just in case
I will PM ya with my details to put you at ease. I highly doubt it will be the same thing. Unless...lol

As far as the track is concerned, just get one good run in, pick up you time slip, and if its under 11.5 or whatever, pack up and head home. They can't stop you from getting that first run, because no one knows what you'll run.

4 Go, the "track" you are talking about is actually the old El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. You can't get on there to race anything. You may have luck at Carlsbad raceway in the San Diego area. Kind of a "redneck" track, I used to do 1/8 mile passes getting the bugs worked out, then one last pass to get a time. Just something to think about. Oh yeah, NICE truck !!!!

Yes, just make your one glory run and leave. Stop making excuses. They can't just look at and hear your engine and think it will run a low 11. How many new Silverados have done that? Give me a break and run it already!!! Mix and parish weren't scared!!!

The biggest issue with that much power is hooking up off the line. Just do some launches till you get the feel for the track and how to launch the truck there. let off at about 1/8 mile so you dont get to fast of an ET. Then make an all ***** run.
