Another newbie 6.0 cam?

Those cams IMO are way to big for what you are trying to do. If you want to pull something the 212/218 WOULD BE THE BIGGEST i would put in. I would look around hte 210/214 range. Will provide great torque and you be able to KEEP the STOCK torque converter.

I spent $325 for a brand new Comp cam, $90 for hardened push rods, and $100 for the comp 918 springs, and all of that delivered for $12 to my door. Now that's way below your $800 something that you're talking about. All of these parts were from a sponsor.
This was in a half ton ex cab, 6.0, 4L60e, stock converter, stock transmisson, and stock rear gear. It's all in the tune, it really makes all of the difference in the world as driveability is concerned. I got 16 in the city, and 18 mpg on the freeway.
Use the search up top if you're looking for more of a cam choice.

I bought a vinci 065 pulling cam instead of going the z06 route. I liked the sound of it but the purchase was against my better judgement. I usually don't purchase items from companies that won't return my emails or phone calls. Tried several times and left a message but hopefully all is well. I'm using it with z06 springs and manley 7.4 heavy pushrods and new gm lifters. Hopefully this package will work as I couldn't get any kind of customer support. Will I need to break this cam in like an old small block or do the roller lifters make that unnecesary. Thanks again for the help.
