Maybe a stupid question, but I was wondering about the openings for the AIR and the PCV? What happened to them? Am I missing something or are they not needed?

there was another post about this the other day. my question, well it looks like the piece would actually decrease the inlet size, but more so it looks like it would cover up the two openings in the throttlebody that let air bypass the blade. what would that do?

It does not entirely cover the openings for the AIR and PCV, it does cut them down. And one more time, it DOES NOT cut down on the inlet. Nobody here has one that's tested it yet. I have one, and am going to test it soon. It's not like it's an electric supercharger.

it looks like you could do the same thing with a $2 roll of aluminum body tape......and if you don't like the results you can remove the tape and are only out $2

it has to cut down on the inlet size. it is inserted INSIDE the inlet THEREFORE IT HAS TO BE SMALLER THAN WHAT IT IS GOING INTO...so it has to cut down on the opening size. maybe it isn't cutting down the inlet on the BACK of the TB but as for the area from the blace up it is. judging from the pics anyways.

you can see what i'm talking about here. it DOES cut down forward opening space, but from behind the blade into the intake manifold it's the same as stock.

NO, IT DOES NOT CUT DOWN ON THE INTAKE OPENING. It creates a vortex efect. The outer opening is the same OD as stock and so is the inner OD. It utilizes a smoothe laminar flow. How many times to I have to say I have one in my possesion with my extra stock T/B, so I don't need pictures to know what I'm talking about. Sheeze!!!!!! It is a very simple design. If it works for 3-4 rwhp, it just might be worth it huh??? Why don't you guys just let me test it before you pass judgement...OK!
