I was looking at the "power enrichment" and "spark" settings in the "modify performance" section and it seems like they only adjust it at WOT. It says WOT right on the screen when your adjusting the settings, so these settings don't do anything during normal driving? I've been told that you want 0.00% for both the fuel trims and KR at WOT. If they are already at 0.00% at WOT with the normal Predator performance tune, should they be left alone? Or should the spark be advanced until I see some KR at WOT then back it off? Now another KR question. If I do see some KR and then it goes to 0.00% at WOT, is that the ECM retarding the timing which is actually bad (loosing power) and I should back it off to the point where I never saw any KR even though it eventually went to 0.00%? What about KR during normal around town driving? What about the fuel trims, are they affected when just changing the spark (timing) settings?

on your KR question, this is just a theory so feel free to set me strait. i believe that any knock retard will set off the knock learn and will eventualy pull base timeing to try and avoid geting any KR. just looking at KR may not be enuff to ensure that you are geting the timing you want.
couple things you can do, look at your base timing and your KR and be sure that if you do see only 2deg of KR you are still geting all the rest of the timing you are asking for. if you are still geting all your timing and just a couple deg of KR then it is no big deal.
with ls1edit, i eventualy shut off my knock learn, it was messing with me and i didnt like it. when i shut off the knock learn i then added the amount of timing that KR could pull to 15ddeg just to be safe. after i did that i always saw exactly what i was asking for(- the x factor(dont ask)) and then the KR was seperate from that. this made tuning alot easier, if there was knock i saw it and if there wasn't i knew that too. no knock learn trying to fool me.

So, what should the timing be? There is a reading for the timing on the Live Data section butI have no idea what I'm looking at on most of the readings. Is there such a thing as to much timing that doesn't create any KR? The KR is measured in % on the Live Data, the most I've seen is like .7% KR, then it would go back to 0.00%. I assumed the ECM pulled timing, which cost me power, right? Right now I have the spark at +1% with no KR at any load. Only being able to get 91 oct gas, I don't think I'll be able to raised it very high.

I am wondering the samr thing Y2K. I have my wot spark set at +1.5% and wot fuel set at +2%. When you find out what the setting are let me know. Hey Y2K, did you set your shift points different with the stock tuning? This is fun yet time comsuming and with gas prices, full throttle testing is getting pricy, lol!!

I know, it doesn't amount to much on one tankfull, but some times I fill up twice in a week or three trimes if I'm traveling for work. Iwill be tring the new shift number and mph today. Thanks for the feedback.
