Rook. I would listen to Thunder, and bigblock572. they both have that cam, so they know the characteristics. I have a friend with a 220/224 in his 4.8, with the factory converter. I'm not sure if you would like the power band for normal driving, notice both Thunder, and BB have 3500 stalls. I know in my friends truck you definatly have to wait around on the cam, but when it hits 3000 RPM hang on.
Also, I had a w4m tune in my 6l with a very similar cam, and had a few different cams in my 5.3, and Jesse tuned for all of them, but I will tell you that its hard for ANYONE to get a cam tune right through the mail. I know Jesse is cheap (thats why I used him) but you will be mutch happier with a real tune if you cam your truck. I bought HPtuners, and finally got it running decent, but I still have issues on cold starts. If you get the w4m tune and have any issues its gonna be a PITA to get them worked out through the mail. So I would recomend getting someone to tune it in person. Just my .02
Good luck with whatever you end up going with.

BTW no matter what cam you decide on, its still going to be too small

yeah you can drink your coffee until 3k and after that you better have your lid back on it cause your gettin set back in the seat and this is on the 20's...

def. needs at least a 3k stall

I'd still like to see a good ole comp 216/220 custom grind to a 112 LSA and dump it into a 4.8. I always really liked that cam in my 5.3, and think it would be a good cam for the 4.8 too.
