Default Quick question for you guys!

Curious if aftermarket MAFS can in any way damage an engine? Just replaced my stock one and the screen looked quit dirty!?

Have a
'05 extended cab
5.3L
k&n cold air
power programmer
Edlebrock shorties
dual flow exhaust
100 shot
and now aftermarket MAFS

i don't think you'll damage anything, but you won't likely gain anything either.

Do they flow just as much air as the screened stock?

I hope you didn't buy one because they're useless. Here is what you do, sell the programmer, MAFS(If you bought one), and shorty headers. Take the money you make off of those and order a mail order tune and Pacesetter LT headers, you'll be glad you did.
