Default alum radiator question

Blew my radiator. Found a few aluminum radiators for my 4.8 but say theyre for an auto trans. Can I cap those off and run it on my 5 speed or am i S.O.L. and have to get an o.e.m. Not too fond of those plastic tanks

Yes you can cap them, but you will loose some of the coolant level volume do to the cooler. you cold use it as an engine cooler...... your truck has one of those, right?
