Default Alternator upgrade

Can anyone help me out with a part# for an upgrade? I think i have the 105 amp version now( K68?) At times when I let of the accelerator the lights surge petty bad, also there is always a slight fluctuation at night in my interior lights. Would the alternator be the problem?

Default Check Your Connections

Look at your battery connections. Remove them and look. Clean them and make sure they are tight. Follow the wires to where they terminate and check that connection too.
If this is not the problem go to a good battery shop and have them test it. They have never charged me for this. Could also be a bad battery.

How about possible regulator problem (which is built into the alternator,I believe) . I worked on a friend's Protege (I know, rice) that was getting up to 17.8 volts. You could see the headlights brighten and the engine would even buck. Autozone ,or the like, can check the batt and chg. system. Checking connections ,like they said, is always good to do.

Well if you end up needing a alternator I believe someone posted this a while back.
Seems like a good upgrade.

No, sorry. I looked on my ebay feedback, but the item number isn't showing anymore. I don't know which username sold it to me. Just try searching
