guess people here in texas that i know are running slow trucks.i have yet to see an ext cab run 15.20 or 30 here just on exhaust and intake.just wondering how it is done.an ss will barely escape with a 15.20.i want proof of these times i guess.still find it hard to believe.guess i need to put on some factory wheels and tire and see what mine will run like that.

i would like to hear from all with ext cab 5.3L 3.73 gears running 15.29 in the quarter. no mods except cold air intake.
I plan to run my truck in October sometime soon before I get my tune. Then I can give you a pretty accurate time...my mods are in sig.

I bet a lot has to do with tire combos...my 33's slow me down a bunch. If I was running a 30" I'd be far faster...take that into account for sure.

i have 3.42 gears right now.man i cant run better than a 15.59 with the twenties.i have raced several trucks and beat a lot of them.most the people i have seen in stock trucks with intake and exhaust dont get below 16.00.just wondering if the numbers are the numbers you actually run or the ones after the math for altitude adjustments.

Hey 02denali, if I were you I would try runnin with out your 20's. From what I have heard they slow you down a lot. I would expect you to pick up a couple of tenths. I ran at Baytown, probably one of the lowest in elevation compared to other tracks. It is practically at sea level. And then there are the factory freaks!
