Default All Motor 11sec Dreams ?

Ok i i have a 2003 single cab swb silverado with a 4.3L in it. I plan to do an engine swap to it in the next couple years. I want to be able to run in the mid 12s to maybe high 11s on all motor hopefully. I was looking at the LQ4 and the LQ9 engines and was thinking i could get one of those and add a cam, bolt ons and a supercharger. Then i ran across the 408 blocks that could fit my truck. With the 408 i would plan on putting the L92 heads and L76 Intake on it, a sick cam, and all the bolt ons to make one sick sleeper.

I have around 10 grand right now to spend on motor, trans, and rearend, so what would be the best way to go biuld up my truck? So idk just give me some feed back on what i should do.

Stay NA with only 10k to play.
Get a LQ4 unless you find a LQ9 at a decent price.
LQ4 depending on miles can be had from about 1000-2000 with low miles.
Full bolt ons.
LT'S ORY pipe bout 600 or so.
LS1 e-fans-like 200ish with harness to run it.
Get some worked heads prob run around 1500-2k
FLT lvl 5 trans- i forget price but close 2400 i think.
The rest of bolt on's shoudn't cost over 5 bills.
Cam and upgraded stuff like oil pump and timing chain around. 700-800.
Get some 4.10 gears and a good locker installed. Say...a grand maybe a hair more.
That should be close and give you an idea.
10K isn't enough to go FI unless you get an FI system and a tranny and nothing else IMO.

A 6.7L shouldn't have much problem running high 11's even with a mild cam in a rcsb 2wd. Look at the truck's running 12.5's with 5.3's and take some note's from them. From there, build a 6.7L with a Fast 90/90 and some killer cathedral port heads or L92 heads and an LS3 intake. Keep the 10 bolt to save weight with a 4.10 gear and a 3000-3400 stall. Go with a well built 65E trans to save weight and parasitic drag. Just keep in mind that you don't need to build a 7000+rpm 408 that drives like a drag truck to run that number. Build it strong and yet streetable.

as mentioned, a 408 should get you there no problem
however, there has yet to be a 6.0L to break the 11's in n/a form.

Didnt Quick have an LQ9 in his truck at one time with shaved heads - high compression and every bolt on in the book, Im sure if any one broke into the 11's with an LQ9 NA it would have been him.

There are several in RGV,TX that have gone 12.0-12.2 N/A with a 6.0. I think La Glock is gonna be there pretty quick. RGVSierra was the one I thought was gonna do it first but he had problems with the 6.0 and I think he went bigger.

As far as I know he went 12.59 with the 6.0L without the nitrous which is right there with the 5.3L guys using smaller cams. He was still getting some problems worked out when quit using it. There are some 6.0L's out there running low 12's and if I recall a couple in the high 11's N/A.
