ok here it goes have bbk throttle body,k/n fipk,araid t/b spacer,msd plug wires,ac delco platium spark plugs,gibson shorty headers,eaton 3:73 posi rearend,flex-a-lite electric fans,hppIII,160stat,asp pulleys,flowmaster exhaust,and still only running 16.01 with a 2.66 60'time at 88.42mph and yes i do have a 4.8 what in the world is wrong?????

What was the weather like when you ran? That is not too far off from where you should be with a 4.8 and those mods....

Ex Cab? Standard Cab?

 

Have you made a lot of passes down the track? I'm not really sure what could be wrong, cuz you should definitely be doin better than a 16.01. I have the 4.8 right now with ASM headers, Hpp3, exhaust and LT1 fans, and i'm running a 14.9. You have any extra weight in your truck? Shoot...i don't know. Get rid of those shorties tho and get you some ASM headers. That will help a ton.

 

it is an ecsb i probly should let you guys know that the truck ran 15.67 with out the bbk but i thought it was supposed to help not hurt my times, and when i had the 4:10 gears in i ran 15.10's so i new the 3:73 gears would hurt my times but not the bbk?

 

i have ran about 30 times and the temp that night i ran the 1601 was about 88

 

Well i had just a drop in K&n and i ran a 15.2.... maybe just the altitude and plus it was at night bout 75* +/-....hmmm got me?

 

it's a 4.8 man, you're right on...maybe even quicker than i would figure...fast 4.8 has a bolt on 4.8 and runs slower than you so you're doin ok. plus it was kinda warm when you ran.

well the people that i "run" with dont have half the bolt on and the run faster time just slower mph and they are 5.3 though
