Air Intake Kits
#1
Lately I've been looking at different air intake systems trying to decide which one to get. I've seen APC, Volant, AEM, Airaid, and K&N. Is there any of them that will work better with my truck or just an all around better brand? I know that K&N is good stuff but I was wondering if there was another that worked better. The Volant Ram Air Performance looks good too.

K&N and Volant seem to be the ones that evryone likes the upd intakes have a problem with cracking though. I got a airaid mit and an ebay intake cost me a hundred bucks and the guys that payed 3 bills for theirs got 1 or 2 hp over me. It isnt worth paying all that money IMO for an intake. If I was going to pay the big bucks I would get a K&N my dad has one on his silvy and it made a diff and is a quality product. I have heard volant's customer service sucks horribly if you have a problem and want answer. Just what I have heard and read never personally experienced it.
