I've been very curious as to how the Radix performs in heat. Testerday it was about 72 deg out and I got stuck in a hour of stop and go traffic, no perceptible power loss, I'm sure there was some, not enough to notice SOTP, I'm very happy about that.

SoFar the Radix is performing as advertised and I am very happy with its OEM fit, finish and everyday driving characteristics

I'm not sure how similar it would be to a Lightning supercharger, but at the track in my 2 previous Lightnings I would lose .1 each time I "hotlapped" it back for another 1/4 mile run. I was making around 370hp/480tq and would start out running a 13.3 or 13.4. Then after a few runs I would sit at about 13.7.

Us Lightning guys new we had to stop after each run, pop the hood, ice down the intake, and wait a while before the next run. It seems odd to me, but my turbo isn't like that. I know they need to be hot to perform their best, but I've never seen a drop in performance like I would with the Eaton on the Lightnings.

I think on the street there is less of a noticable difference. Chevy Performance Mag came up with a pretty cool solution for heat soak, when I finally get to the track I might employ their ideas.

I know what the answer is!!! Put the Supercharger over the rear axle away from all that underhood heat!

Can you say TQ?
