Also tonight I was playing around a little and found that I can put the transmission in '2' and still get good acceleration starting in 2nd gear (1.61:1 ratio). Try that with a centrifugal or turbo.
Great Update! That is an awesome point, all weather capable, that alone, give's the Radix a big Gold Star! anytime you have to worry about water damage, other than crossing a stream or river, is not a kit I'd want.

New Update: 21MAR05

Drove approx 500miles today, halfway to Vegas, had some really long graded inclines, MAN!, what a dream the truck is to drive

When I set my truck on cruise at 78mph, 2500 rpm, it just sits there steady as can be, up any grade of road, no hint of engine strain or blower whine, it is very quiet
Gotta love all that TQ!

Hey Grippy, Do you know what the tail lights on a 2000 chevy look like? Well lets line up so i can show you. Just messing with ya. Sounds like the Radix is working great. What kind of gas mileage did you get. I just did a 350 mile trip driving 75-80 and got 17.5 mpg. And merging in to traffic at 90 You got to love the feel of all that power. As you would say Wheeeeeeeeeee

It must be the water injection from the bottom sucker that gives me the good gas mileage. As far as the rpm @ 75, never realy paid attention but i'll check it tomorrow

Well i checked it this morning, 2500@ 75 mph. So 4600 in OD would be about 135-140 right. I had to slow down for a curve.
