Default Aftermarket "Ride Control" shocks?

Just like the post is titled...is there any available now or planned to be released? I really like this feature on my truck and don't want to get bent pricewise for new shocks...

Thanks

hey man! just get the edelbrocks and be done. having been a mechanic, i have seen more problems with the "ride control" shocks than benefits. besides, the cost would be very high if they were available. i know the factory replacements were rediculous on cars that had them.

Well crap, that's not what I wanted to know. I was hopin that they were going to be available maybe by Edelbrock. Why are they problematic? Aside from my button being broken by a careless passanger the setup has been fine on my truck...

electronics my friend, electronics. i'm sure that things have improved over the years, but, consider this: the extreme temperatures, forces, vibrations, etc. that shock absorbers must endure. now consider the size of the electronic "valves" that have to control them. i have seen first hand the differences that "sport" and "normal" modes of the so called electronic shocks make, and i am not impressed. i tried the stock, then toxic shocks, then ended up with the edelbrocks. you won't be dissapointed. besides, if you are, send them back! they are guaranteed that you will like them i do believe.

i have KYB shocks on my truck and it handles great, granted mine isn't dropped (2" shackles) but it rides 100% better than stock.

Ditto. The 9000's have been around for a while but I don't have any experience with them. I think Pro-Comp has some remote controlled adjustable shocks too.
