Default AFM/DOD lifters with boost?

I have never heard this until now but someone told me I need
to delete AFM and change my cam to run a supercharger on my 6.2. I already have AFM disabled through the tune. Is he right? I've never seen any major supercharger brand kits saying you need a cam swap. I thought it was just bolt on and go.

I would be running about 8 lbs of boost with a tvs 1.9 on an L94 6.2

It's not required, but a cam swap would be ideal for peak performance. I've ran my spike turbo kit on my Tahoe for a while now, with the AFM/DOD hardware in the motor. Put down some impressive numbers as wel... 450/500 at 8psi.

not worth the risk, change them, put some ls7 lifters in, and some good valve springs. pulling the heads isn't a daunting task on these engines.
