Could it be an incorrect pulley? You said you bought it used. Is the elastomer ring still good? Is the outer part of the pulley separating from the inner part? Is your compressor or mounting bracket coming loose or misaligned?

Just tossing out random things to check.

If the noise is always there, then yes its a pulley issue.

As far as the belts I have seen issues and replaced my fair share of gatorback belts. The Goodyear rubber seems to be softer and deteriorates faster than the OEM rubber. Same with their Hoses. I have been useing the Gates hoses and belts or OEM with much better success.

Well i think i figured it out

I put a straight end in the back of the crank pulley and checked the alignment at the bottom and top. Well come to find out the AC compressor was tilted downwards. I got the ac compressor steaighten out and so far the noise is gone.

BTW, dont foget to put the crank pulley bolt back in. I went for a test drive with mine out and the damn thing started coming off the cranks. It tossed all the belts and almost fubarred everything.

Dear lord. I think it is finally fixed. Basically i replaced everything. Harmonic balancer (which i think the used one i bought was the main issue), ac tensioner, serpentine tensioner, idler pulley, all new gates belts. Before installing i cleaned alm the other pulleys with brake clean. So far no noise at all. Time will tell thou.
