Default 99-06 Oil Filter Different from 2007+ / Wix and GM PN's

the older stuff takes a 13/16 x 16 on the thread size.

1999-2006
older stuff
(PF46)51042 is the shorter (3.404") for 13/16" threads
(PF61)51522 is the taller (4.526") for 13/16" threads






the newer oil pans take a filter with a thread size of 22x1.5mm

2007-Current
Wix
(PF63) 57045 taller filter (4.828") for the newer 22mm threads.
(PF48)57060 shorter filter (3.45") for 22mm threads

Good info, for the life of me, I haven't been able to find the tall filter for my 07... Been running the short one.

There is also a UPF48 that is used on ZR1 and later Z06. Just an FYI.
