Any Help would be appreciated!
I have a 2003 Silverado and would like to know if 98-02 Camaro Electric fans will fit on my truck so I can get rid of my power robbing clutch fan. The truck will only be used for street driving/ No off-roading or towing involved. And if they will work, What will I need to complete the installation. The Camaro fans measurements are 28.5 x 18.5 x 5. And if anyone else has done this mod on their truck, how do they like it and is it worth it?
Thanks for any help or advice, you can give!!!!!!!

Yes it will work! You will need to make some brackets and get a fan controller. I am using the Flex-a-lite VSC. It works great!

Ya know, I was thinking the same thing when I had my head under the hood the recently. I have a 00' Z28 and I think it would be very easy...you just need a way to trigger the fans. That might even free up enough room for a "straight shot" type filter system. I'll have looksee at it. Probably free up about 5-10 ponies.

I notched the angle stock of aluminum so it would bolt to the existing fan shroud bolt holes. I didn't want it to angles out and so it would sit flush with the efans. Ties are holding the efans to the brackets and the bottom of the brackets to the lower radiator support (I think that is what it is called). I used the fan shroud bolts for the top. If any of that make sense. I was going to us all stainless steel bolt, but I used the zip ties to test fit everything and they seen to be working out fine.

well what I did was took a mustang GT fan and cut off the brackets and mounted it inside my stock fan shroud. then I wired it up to a relay and put a switch inside the truck and alt. power loss is only marginal.
