Default 90mm fast intake.

What t.b. should I use and I know I have to change the water pump. What else will have to be changed or spaced out so it will fit? Thanks

You will also hit the alternator bracket pulley. Speartech a sponsor sells the modified alternator bracket.

Nick Williams 90mm TB. IMHO its nicer than the FAST 90. Nicer finish and all. Cheaper too.

Yeah you keep the alternator bracket it is just modified. You can use the stock water pump but some people have had problems and then moved to an f-body pump that is spaced somehow to align with the truck accesories.

So I may not have to change anything.

You can get the truck water pump modified, that's what I did. Nate at Nasty Performance hooked me up with that.

You'll have a couple of choices on the water pump. You need the outlet coming out the front, like the cars do. But you need the pulley spaced properly for the truck belt. You can get a car pump with the bolt on pulley. Add some spacers behind the pulley to space it out some. You could also have a 1/2" spacer made that mimics the waterpump gasket, then use that to move the car pump out to align with the truck accessories. Finally, you can have the truck pump modified to move the outlet from the top to the front.

You'll have to completely relocate the idler pulley. It needs to go down and under the alternator more. A custom bracket needs to be created. Belt routing similar to the C5 is preferable over the speartech pulley belt routing. Like this: http://z71.net/idlerpulley.jpg

You'll need a proper length belt.

You'll need to cut and grind your alt bracket.

You'll need a LS6 style head coolant vent pipe.

I'd suggest trying out the 2005 SSR throttle body. Buy a factory service harness for it too, and splice it into your existing harness. These should only cost you just over $200 and idle should be better than some of the other options. Here is what it looks like compared to the 03-05 truck TB:

The 05 90mm TB uses a 6 pin plug (right) ours use 8 pins (left).

You buy a car water pump and press the pulleys off and swap them (What I did)
