There is a triangular-ish bracket. That bracket has about a 1" round spacer that the pulley bolt goes through. That spacer is welded to the triangle bracket roughly in the middle. The stock truck pulley is bolted into this spacer/bracket. As far as thickness of the bracket and spacer - measure the distance from the alt bracket to where the pulley needs to ride and make your parts fit that.

The car pump is similar to the meziere pump too. It will fit on the truck without modifications, but the belt rides along the outer edge of the pulley. The answer to how large of a spacer do you need on the water pump pulley is to measure the distance of the belt from the block on a car and measure the same on a truck. The difference is how far you need to space out the car pump. Use a water pump gasket as a template to have your spacers cut out. I think they need to be about 3/8" or near that. The key is to get either the car or truck tensioner pulley to also be at the correct location.

Sorry Tex I'm a little confused. Are we talking about one or two brackets? Is there a difference between "triangular-ish" and "triangle"? Sounds like we take a 1" spacer off of the "triangular-ish" bracket and weld to the "triangle" bracket. So is the "triangular-ish" the stock bracket and the "triangle" the new bracket?

Asking about the thickness of the plate for structural strength. Figured washer/spacers to put the pulley in-line.

Thanks

Tirangular-ish and triangular and triangle = same thing. It was easier to type triangle. Just a traingular bracket with a roughly 1" spacer welded to it. I should have taken pics before I delivered it to redaddiction. I'll look, I may have some better views.

You know, I tried to email speartech and haven't gotten a response yet. Couldn't find any info on their website. I thought someone was working on a application for a f-body waterpump, f-body tensioner, truck alternator and speartech relocation bracket. Anyone have any knowledge about that?
