Default 6.2L intake manifold on a 4.8L???

There's a guy on ebay selling a Hummer H2 6.2L intake manifold for a gas engine and he's claiming that it fits on my 2008 Silverado 4.8L engine. Has anyone ever heard of this? I don't want to buy it if it's not going to fit or I'm not going to notice a difference. I tried looking on the web and I haven't come across anybody else who has done this. Any help would be great. Thanks

Your 4.8 has cathedral ports and the 6.2 has rectangle ports, wont fit.

Mine? No, I removed the headlight lenses and painted the chrome reflective material.
