LS2 requires some changes in electronics/induction. The knock sensors are different and would need to be externally mounted on the block or get conversion parts. Injectors might be different. Katech makes adapters to make the LS2 injectors work with LS1 style stuff and vice versa. They differ from LS1 injectors but may be the same as the truck injectors, not sure. Also need a new conversion throttle body since the LS2 has a 4 bolt T/B (unless you decide to use your truck/LS1 style intake on it). Most everything else can be run with the stock parts, they all bolt up. I would go with an rebuilt LQ4 or an Iron 402/408 if it was me, much simpler if you are looking to save money.
