Todd, I will be there next thursday. My possible future company is flying me in for an interview on wed night. Since its there dime they are flying me back out thursday. But if all goes well I will be moving there in prolly less than a month. Looking at houses now to rent. I miss it there, main reason I am coming back. Plus houses are so cheap compared to here.

Ask The_Mexican he has one and they come with the 5.3L. So you raced a 5.3L.
However, his might be a little quicker than the average Mexican Truck

LOL, FarmTruc is right the "400 SS" sticker is for the stepside models here in Mexico but the 5.3 came here for 03+ trucks, the 98-02 truck still came with the old 5.7L vortec (I know, it sucks ), but anyway that's a nice kill .

Ya, they are nice looking trucks and make you think when you see the 2500 and "400" sticker, too bad it's not true, but then again you'd have to be able to read spanish and get used to the metric cluster.
Also, when I was tuning it, I had to get the spanish version of ls1edit and my dictionary out so i could tune it properly.
uno, dose, tres,

Other than that, still nice trucks.

Good kill btw, Your truck looks very nice!!

allen

I think it was seth at combo that told me his bone stock 5.3 1500 rocked a 2500 6.0.

Prob because of wieght and drivetrain losses. I raced a 6.0 1500 in my 4.8 Z71. I had 2 inches of tire on him and he had 4.11s to my 3.73s. both ext cab 4x4. He beat me by about 2 truck lengths.
