corvette or billet servos?

I have a 2000 silverado with around 290-300 rwhp. When slowly pushing down the peddle from a stop the 1-2 shift seems to slip a little. I used a superchips programmer and extended both shift points and line preasure, but not maxed. The trans is brand new, because the old one bit the dust. I suspect that under hard throttle, the 1-2 band might be sliping. So would the help of a corvette or billet servo stop it. And which one should I chose. I know that the billet one is better, but it is also 3x as much. I plan to also buy the 3-4 one as well. Thanks!

Id say get a Trans Go shift kit and the corvette servo. The corvette servo is more than enough.I did not install a servo, and have no issues. But keep a eye on your accumulater piston if yu uping the line pressure.I had a hpp3 and maxed line pressure and when i installed my kit the accumulater piston was cracked in 3 spots around the hole i got lucky.

Some guys do just the billet servos. Others do the shift kit plus 'vette servo (like me). Both seem to have similar effects on shift firmness. Combining a shift kit and billets will give a really hard shift.
Also remember that with a shift kit you need to program line pressure back to stock settings and remove torque management.
There is a metal replacement for the 2nd accum piston (stock is plastic) - costs about $10. If youre gonna be inside the tranny, you might as well replace it. P/N 24204496

I would get the TransGo shift kit, corvette intermediate servo and billet overdrive servo. With that much power that will be fine. Install the shiftkit with no washers on it though. If you get to hard of a shift, **** will break.
Do you have the stock converter in there or an aftermarket one? Any plans on getting aftermarket if you have the stock one?

I am pushin 290rwhp & had the oversized billet from tci, they only ran about $80.00. With my hypertech I had the line pressure increased & at 9,000 the 2/4 apply band actually broke in half & sheared the pin. I was lucky that I work at the dealership & warranty covered it

i would think that if you took it in for tranny issues and they see that then they will void the repairs. make sure you keep the stock ones. some dealers are worse than others about stuff like that.
