Default 6.0L rcsb goes down...

Ok, now I REALLY love my truck. Last nite, I finally got to line up with this white Silverado I keep seeing around town. Hes lowered 2/4 like me, got 20s like me, intake and cat back like me...but, he bought the truck in Mexico and it says 400 on the side. Hes also a stepside or sportside, whatever its called. Anyway, I ask him if hes gonna show me how fast it is and he replies with a 'hell ya I am". Well...I brake stall a bit, and the light goes green. I take him out of the hole and continue to pull 2 cars by 60. I held that 2 cars until 85 where I let off. He spun a bit which I account to 1 car, the other car length I think was just based on my truck being simply quicker. What sucks about it all is when we got to the next light he just rolled up his window and blew me off. Oh well...maybe I woulda been pissed too.

I assume a newer 6.0 in that truck woulda done better, but his was an 02. Im not sure how many changes they made.

There is no 6.0L option in Mexico LOL. The 400 sticker is just for hype and the RegCabs in Mexico that have a v8 in them are referred to as 2500 series.

Ask The_Mexican he has one and they come with the 5.3L. So you raced a 5.3L.
However, his might be a little quicker than the average Mexican Truck

later,

allen
