Is that the VHP "Stangbanger"? Joe told me that wouldn't idle very well in my 5.3, that it behaves more like a 228/232.

You can get by with alot more cam in a 6.0. When I was looking into the TB verter on SSS.com, they noted it stalled to 2800 behind their LQ9's. Id push a bit more on the cam if I were you.

but i will be gone for several months right now so unless you get a buyer ready to step up when you do it then count me out if not then im in


as far as the 6.0 cam i would put nothing less then a 233/239 in it with a nice set of P&P heads since you daily drive it

jeff - the 5.3 will be at hill boys rod and custom in broken arrow when i yank it. 233/239. isn't that what flyer is runnin? i listened to a clip of it and it thumps hard. man i don't know...that is one beast of a cam. you and 99silver6.0 are on the same page thinking i should go bigger. i am gonna have to sleep on it. imagine if for some reason the wife had to drive it with the 233/239 OMG, she would have my **** turned up side down in a ditch some where. she only wears a size 6 shoe, but that damn thing is alot heavier than my size 13. she only has on/off, a 1 or 0, 0% or 100%. she scares the hell out of me when she drives.

02man98 - if the cam doesn't go with the engine i'll let you know since you were the first to ask. cool?
