Sounds a bit high. You say this was transplanted into a different vehicle? Also what cam is in there?

That's threw a T56 also which will show higher dyno numbers. Still seems a bit high, I think in the trucks the 6.0Ls dyno in the 290rwhp range.

Wow.

Stock LQ4 = 325 HP x ~17% drivetrain loss (auto) = ~270 RWHP
Stock LQ4 = 325 HP x ~12% drivetrain loss (man) = ~286 RWHP
You report ~380 RWHP

So you got ~100+ RWHP from those mods, that's amazing.

EDIT: Corrected numbers for LQ4

oops sorry 2001 LS6 cam/springs and LS1 fans.

The numbers are great. Hence the title "underated?".

Motor is in a 68 chevy pu.

Might seem high but it's still a fact

You report ~380 RWHP

So you got ~80 RWHP from those mods, that's amazing.

Stock LQ4 = 320hp
Stock LQ9 = 345hp

Actually, I think we're both wrong....the LQ4 has 325 HP at the flywheel. Doh! But you are correct, it's the LQ9 that has 345.
