i think alot of that depends on how much power you ware wanting to push through it in the end. many people will die by the nuts of FLT and from waht i understand its well deserved. i would talk to customer service there. im sure they will give you an honest opinion

Where is a good place to look for a 6.0 long block? I looked on E-bay but all I could find were complete engines for 2000 and up.

:word: definetly depends on what you're looking for. I know theres another company, rock-on transmissions, they make a 4L60e guarenteed for like 700hp. I think its around 2500$

personally I'd do the 6.0 swap. its a stronger engine to begin with and it will have less miles than what you do.

that cajunblue I think thats his name, has 350ish rwhp and he runs 12s. You'd have to ask around about built 4L60es, I know theres a few people who have gone through one or two BUILT 4L60e's

a good built 60e will hold up with power up to about 4-500hp...from what i read. as long as you get a good builder doing a good job of course. if you arent making a whole lot of power, a 4l80 is just gonna hold you back for the time until you get more power
