6.0 swap or radix 5.3

I'd say go for the 6.0L. (I've never heard of a 6.0L 408??? I've heard of a 6.7L 408 though...???) As for the transmission, you're going to need an upgrade whether you use a 6.0L or a boosted 5.3L. Going with a 6.0L is going to get you a lower milage engine which would take care of that issue to start with. The 6.0L is going to have much more room for future use.

go 6litre and call it a day. you can make alot more power out of a 6litre then a radix 5.3 for the money

well all that said, i think that im going with the swap. just want to get one thing sraight. if the 6.0 is compleate with intake injectors etc ... then al the stuff of the 5.3 should work. like altanator, water pump, power stearing, and all that good stuff or will some of it not work. let me know thanks

yes they are the same blocks as in apperance and mounting of things.

found this on ebay, dont know what he actualy wants for it or if its worth it, it says it comes with intake manifold but rather or not it has the fuel rails on it or not i dont know, im still waiting on a response from him

seems shady, one dude painted the block flat black and got paint on the heads. also since when does the Gen III motors have freeze plugs. i personally wouldnt buy it

That is the correct way to handle a motor... right...
that whole scene looks sketchy
OH, the bigger motor will probably be a better choice. check some dyno sheets if you're not sure.

yeah screw that guy anyway he says he build these engines all the time and i asked him how much he wanted for it if he kept the intake. you know just see if i could pick it up really cheap and do the radix and 6.0 at the same time but then he said he had no use for it................. duhh.......duhh.........duhh...... if i build engines all the time i would want an extra intake lying around....... hmmmm mbaee just me

how much do you want to make? all depends on how you go, you can see 4xxrwhp if done right but it would be more towards race then street application
