Default 6.0 cam performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 02 rcsb with a lq4 6.0 and 4l60e. It has E-fans, k&n cai, pacesetter longtubes, 8.1inj., ory pipe, 3 inch cut out, 3800 stall, 4.10 gears, 28 inch slicks. I am currently running a 224/224 581/581 112 on xer lobes but want more power and performance. This is not a dd it is a weekend street/strip truck. There is to many shelf cams out there to choose from. I want a high 11n/a truck. I dont wont to spin past 6700rpms. I thought about a 226/226 584/584 112+4 on xer lobes or the ms3. Tuning is not a issue that can be done at the track and on the road. Any info is greatly appreciated just looking for better track times and still be able to drive it anywhere.

have you looked at the TSP 228R cam? if its not a daily driver the MS3 cam might be a better choice for you.

I'm thinking MS3. What kind of power are you making right now?

I would like to go turbo but I dont have the funds right now. I dont know how muck power I am making but with a TCI 3000 and 3.42 gears it ran 8.0's in the 1/8. Now with the 3800 and 4.10's with a new cam I would like to run mid 7's. Txsilverado and ap ran low 12's with the 226 in there extended cabs. Would it be possible to dip 7's in a rcsb?

I don't think 2*, and .004'' lift would be worth the effort changing the cam. If you went something like 227/230, .585''/.592'', 110* or 230/230, .592''/.592'', 110* I think you would pick up power in the mid, to upper midrange without having to spinn past 6700RPM.

I could be wrong, but with the stock tb, truck intake, and no headwork, I think you're asking a lot out of a cam. I'm no guru, but I'd leave that cam and get a good set of heads. Maybe even a fast intake with a 90mm or so tb. A cam can only do so much. All the engine parts must work together to make a strong engine.
