Do the head bolts have to be replaced, or can they be reused/torqued?

I'll probably do the Comp trunion upgrade kit on my stock rockers. LINK
This Melling HP oil pump is a little less expensive. LINK

The stock head bolts are torque to yield and have to be replaced...ARP's are reuseable.

Guess I'll need something like this gasket and bolt kit. LINK. That's too bad that the bolts can't be reused. I'd like to pull a couple bearing caps, but don't feel I need to upgrade to better fasteners. I guess I could just replace the few I pull with OEM. I was thinking of pulling maybe one rod cap and one main cap, just to check the bearings.

I am doing a similar build up, Not sure which cam I am going to run yet. But I plan on replacing the oil pump, Timing chain, and head bolts. I think thats it so far lol.

I just bought some 243 heads milled to 58cc with a 5 angle valve job, Hopefully its a fun set up. Good luck with your setup. Curious to see how it turns out.

Anything I've missed, or something you'd do differently?

I found a reputable local speed shop that will dip the heads for $60 and mill them for $80. Only a couple days turn around time too.

Found a smokin' deal on a Yank PT 3200 brand new for $500. Grabbed that bad boy right up. This was the converter that David recommended as well.
