What is the cubic inches on the new 5.3 vortec motor in chevy trucks?Does anyone have links to specs and data?Any sites that speak about hot roding this motor?
And do you guys know of any sites that have said questions about 327's?

It is a 325 cu in. motor. Look on the chevy website for more info. I used to have a 2000 silverado ext. cab that ran 14.8 on motor, and 13.3 on gas. There are a lot of parts for the new motors, and a lot of them swap from the truck to the ls1. Yank makes a couple converters, you can get all kinds of rear ends, tires, several different headers, and from what i have heard, the az speed and marine headers are some of the best. I think TBYRNE motorsports carries a lot of stuff for the trucks, and MTI carries some too.

I'll answer for Daren: He had a 100 dry shot on for most of the time until he upped it to 125 right before he sold it.
