I'd need to know the rest of the specs on that cam before offering an opinion.

Yeah, that 216/220 cam would probably work with the stock converter, but I wouldn't go any bigger.

Maybe try to push through the brakes a bit when stopped and perhaps a little doggy at low rpm, nothing serious.

It sounds like the guys on this forum know what there talkin about. Im also fairly new to LS engines. Ive had my 99 new body silverado for a year now. What I know is from reading what you guys write day to day. Got a questions if you guys could help. I had my 5.3 rebuilt, bored 30 over, heads milled 30 thou, 212 218 low lift cam, and an Inline 6 TB stall converter. I plan to intall efans next. I have HP tuner pro and have been doing all the tuning my self so far. So far its running pretty good but deffinately not what I was hoping for. The tune still needs work but Im thinking about buying a diff set of heads next to add a little more power. Ive heard 02 and up, heads are a lot better then the 99 heads I currently have. Any suggestions on heads or an intake manifold. Or anything else i can do to wake it up a little more while still keeping it naturaly aspirated. Sorry for the huge post.
