A tune seems like its the way to go in this case. The Wait4Me tune is only $160?? And it seems that people really like it. Almost sounds too good to be true......and I know what they say about that. I've searched in several forums and came across some people who had less than stellar experiences with their WFM tune. What's the deal here?

Any mail order tune is going to give some improvement in performance over the hand held type of tuners but still they are generic by nature and can only do so much without logging your truck's actual perameters.
For a few bolt-ons a mail order tune is just fine and I do know of one tuner who sends hardware to his customers to log so he can actually ship out a tune specific to your truck.
For fine tuning a dynomometer must be used in conjunction with actual street time to nail it.
Good luck.
