i got a 99 5.3 silverado.. i was wondering if it would be a good idea to stick a ms3 or ms4 cam in it.. i got a 4000 stall with 4.56 gears on its way

 

Its little big of a cam for 5.3 but with a 4000 and 56s it will good don't expect low 12s with it...or try the torquer, 233;239, one the but the best two cam for 5.3 be 220 or 224 since you have 4000 stall the 228 be great also on a 110 lsa

Not a good idea man. get a tr220 or 224.

 

With 4.56's and a loose 4k stall, he'll probably be ok.

You going to want a built 60e or 80e swap man....80e be cheaper an stronger just fyi
