I would agree if you were working on a RCSB 2x4 but your not.Did you search that link? a good 6.0 should be had for well under $1500.Did you ever say where you live?People here are willing to help you find the deals on labor.

Im in greensboro, NC Ive been looking all over the internet and on sites like this. I still havent found one for anywhere near that price, if anybody knows of one or wants to sell thier 6.0 let me know.

FInd out how much it would cost to stroke your 5.3 and compare $ and hp/tq!

You need to try again and click on the link that is in #2 post on this post,there are dozens of decent mile 6.0s under $1500 you want a 2001 and up engine.

the stroker kits Ive seen have all been around 3600 and up

I did a search on the site there are alot of 6.0 under 1k I stand corrected now if they will ship me one and I can find a place to keep it until its ready to go in. I dont think I can put it in my apartment man I wish I had a garage, maybe Ill rent a storage space and work on it in there

Ive heard alot of people use the same computer and wiring and it cranks right up. Whose done the swap and how hard is it.

Piece of cake,use your PCM have Nelson reprogram it,Its a direct swap bolts right in. Do what i did and get a low mile used cam and Ls6 springs.

Chances are that when you buy the used motor, the manifolds will already be on it.
