Default 5.3 to 6.0 ???

This should be an easy question.. Will a 6.0 bolt up to my 5.3 drivetrain?? I usually deal with mopar I am kind of lacking on the gm knowledge..

Doesn't it depend on the year... the crank snout length?

That is correct Neil...a 99-00 6.0 will not bolt up to a 60E as it has a longer crank, the 01+ are a direct swap, just need some tuning

You can identify the 01+ 6.0'S by their aluminum heads as opposed to cast iron heads on the 99-00's

there has to be about a billion and half threads on this, need to have some add-on to the forums that recognizes the commonly asked questions and re-directs you to the search, not bashin on you blownRT, but seeing a handful of the same questions asked a couple times a week gets old lol
