Default 4l60e experts come in

ive heard that you can use a vette servo for strong shifts. i went
down the dealership and asked they gave me this number.
-24204496- that is the dual aluminum servo piston kit. this sells for around 20bucks
---this kit is the one in the vette. he ran my vin and is the same as
i have. for the 4.8 motors they have a aluminum and plastic setup.

my question is this the same one they throw in or what???
i also seen the JET performance sells one
--- jet-750212 billetpowr-servo kit. sells for 84.95
they also sell the 4th gear servo for 79.95. this one is for manly
towing should i get that one also???

the billet one goes on the side of the tranny and the 4th gear one is
the one in the valve body.

any serious help will appreciate. i have to know by tuesday. that
is when they are tearing into my tranny. the dealership said theyll
throw in a shift kit and servos if i supply them.

22k miles and slipping badly

First off ... if it's slipping already with only 22k miles on it, go get it warrantied, don't touch it til you get a new one.

Both servos go in the side of the tranny. There is a cover that you take off and pull the assembly out of.

The vette ones I'm sure is just a coined name for an aftermarket servo. The billet ones are better than the vette ones. I'd go with them, but they do cost more.

When you do this, you should also have a shift kit installed. I'd recommend the Transgo kit, the one that comes with a video.

i plan on going with the transgo shift kit. the dealer said theyll install the kit and servos if it gets
rebuilt. if they give me a new one then i wont get parts. but if they rebuild it then im going with the
kit and mods.

alos im thinking a stall, i can get a PI 3200 for 750 but i have to wait 2-3 weeks problem is i dont
know how long the dealer will take.

how much for a yank around 2800-3200 and how long to get it here.

Yank would be about the same but better quality I think. They MAY be able to get it to you sooner.
