Transgo has a lot of new and improved pieces in it. B&M just has springs and directions on where to drill I think.

I know the Transgo kit had me pulling stuff out of the valve body and replacing it with upgraded parts. The upgraded parts are suppose to fix a lot of little things with the tranny.

The B&M is a quick and easy install, for sure, but only because there are not a whole lot of parts that are upgraded. You get two choices for your shifts, neck-snap and bone-jar and the same happens regardless of your speed. The Transgo has a lot more adjustability in the shift you want. The HD kit even comes with a corvette servo.

go with the trans-go its more bang for your buck.
i had the B&M and it lasted 1 year before it snapped my output shaft.
i had the neck snapping shifts at that time and i also installed it myself.
now i have the trans-go and you can adjust at what firmness you want.

Uh oh... here we go again. The TransGo warrants the extra cost hands down...they INVENTED the shift kit. It fixes lots of problems inherent in the tranny not just firms up the shifts. Need to know more ask...

Depends on your skills with little parts. I had a helluva a time with those damn billet servos. I've installed a shift kit before in a valve body and it isn't too bad. Those servos are just in a queer spot

I thought the servos were the easiest part .... the shift kit is dropping the pan (messy as hell), dropping the valve body, and the seperator plate (gets even messier than just the pan). You can expect to get ATF all over you and everything else. The biggest thing is pay attn to detail and don't use the spacers for the servo assembly. Watch the video included about 3-5 times and you should be able to handle it.

If you drop the Y-pipe, they are easy to get to. There is a heat shield over them too.
