Default The 4l60 in the Silverado same as in Fbods correct?

Cause I was thinking about getting a nice 5disc Vigilante in the coming months and just wanted to make sure.

I got the 4.8L w/no tow package so I'm fairly sure it has the 4l60..haven't checked into it too deeply to make sure.

I loved the vigilante in my Fbody and would like the same kind of response in this truck...I know I will have to get the hypertech to up the shift firmness, that or pay MTI or someone to tune the truck and mess w/the trans and get the torque management taken out as well...

Thanks
